t3h w31rd: April 29th, 2007

People, this is a very special edition of t3h w31rd for you all this week. You see, there wasn’t too much “weird” stuff in the world of gaming this week, so rather than just skipping the segment I’ve decided to highlight some of the more interesting things I’ve found in my travels to find for you the truly stupid. I guess you could call it “t3h f4sc1n4t1ng”, but come on, that’d be silly.

So without further adieu, I present to you “t3h w31rd”.

Consoles are hot, hot, hot!
This is all in German, so really there’s no point to try and read all the specifics in all of this, unless of course you speak German (or Polish, as I’ve been informed that is). It’s just an interesting view at how much heat is generated by the consoles sitting in our homes right now. Who knew the Xbox 360 generated 51 degree heat? …that’s Celsius, which translates to 124 degrees Fahrenheit!

Zoozen Xbox 360 Case Mod

How freakin’ cool is that? I dare say it almost looks like a more sleek Wii. Almost.

Jessica Chobot gets Spanked!
…ok, so I really don’t know what Jessica Chobot is relevant for, outside of being the pretty cute chick who licked the PSP some time back. Sure, the interview was supposed to be about girl-gaming and whatnot, but basically what makes this video stick is the fact that she gets spanked by some guy who sounds awfully German.

Seriously, what is she important for? I like her. She seems like a cool chick who I’d love to have a drink with. But all the same… why do I know her name, outside the PSP thing… even if it was… insanely… insanely hot… let’s move on.

…there really is no point to this… this is just one of those things you HAVE to share with people…

The Last Stand
Ok, back to gaming. This is a simple flash game, but with the coolest subject matter to make games on: Zombies. Basically you spend day after day defending your wall against endless hoards of undead, and each day you allocate hours to rebuilding your wall, searching for survivors, or trying to find new, more powerful weapons. It’s simple, fun, and as far as I know, has no end.

I made it to Day 19 before I got bored. How long can you last?

And finally…

See y’all next week!
