Halo: Uprising issue #1 on sale today!

by JW

halo-uprising.jpgComic Book fans rejoice! …Halo fans, you rejoice, too. The first part of the Marvel comic mini-series “Halo: Uprising” comes out today! Bridging the gap between Halo 2 and the upcoming Halo 3, this original story from the Eisner Award-winning duo of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev is set to continue the story of Master Chief in this critically acclaimed four-part miniseries. What is his new mission? Why does the Covenant want Earth? To find out, you’ll have to read.

As both a Halo fan AND a Comic Book fan, this is a double-whammy of cool for me. I know what I’ll be reading tonight.

I haven’t been to a comic shop in at least two months, and I am not even that much of a Bungie nut, but today is my day off so I think I might actually go out and pick this up, Bendis is good shit.
