Rayman to utilize Live Vision
Here’s a story with “bad idea” written all over it.
A game designed specifically for the Nintendo Wii is headed to the Xbox 360, in Rayman Raving Rabbids. Naturally, this is raising a lot of eyebrows. After all, how in the world are you going to translate a game that took HEAVY use of the Wiimote? Simple: The Live Vision.
37 of the 70-some-odd mini-games featured in RRR will utilize the Live Vision’s motion sensor capabilities. In addition to utilizing the Live Vision’s motion capture, and (naturally) getting a graphical upgrade, the Xbox 360 version will also feature two exclusive mini-games:
Rabbits Don’t Play Basketball
Rabbits Don’t Play Rock, Paper, Scissors
Personally, I don’t see this working at ALL. With that said, I guess it’s nice to see a game take advantage of the Live Vision camera people are spending $40 on.
