Microsoft Made a Booboo
Microsoft would like to apologize to you, the consumer, for overcharging you for your online purchase of Microsoft Points. You know, those points that you trade in for arcade classics like Paperboy and Time Pilot. See, they’re so sorry they even sent everyone who got overcharged this nice little e-mail:
Microsoft first discovered their mistake when someone (probably a consumer) realized that they are being charged taxes for credit card purchases. Upon noticing their error, Microsoft quickly took steps to correcting it, and are now refunding everyone who has been wronged.
I should note that if your card is out of date or otherwise no good, you may want to get ahold of Microsoft and tell them of the billing inconsistency, otherwise you ain’t gettin’ poo. To the rest of you, feel free to tell me how much you got back from Microsoft. I’m curious about it, myself.
