Guitar Hero II WILL Get Original Tracks
Ah, at last we can return to the regular ol’ news and enjoy the fact that this April Fools bull is done and over with for the absolute longest possible time.
IGN, in their (typical) glowing review of Guitar Hero II, revealed that YES there WILL be downloadable songs via the Xbox Live Marketplace, including songs from the original Guitar Hero. Amongst these songs are Ozzy Osbourne’s “Bark at the Moon”, “Higher Ground” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (or the “Hey, that’s the Red Hot Chili Peppers” song from the Power Rangers movie), and “Stellar” by one of my favorite bands, Incubus.
The 360 version of the game, which releases tomorrow, will also feature ten songs made exclusive to the 360.
Look, I was never a big Guitar Hero buff, but if you love it, great! Have fun! Meanwhile, as you are kickin’ out the jams, I’ll be sleeping.

Sleeping? Sleeping? Pah, not when there’s Guitar hero fun to be being had. My neighbour hates me since I got the Ps2 version for Christmas

Guitar Hero is the best game EVER! I play it constantly, and Stellar is by far one of the best songs on it!
